Our Mission Statement and our commitment to you
We seek to provide for our customers “the ultimate deep sea fishing experience”. This requires a sincere commitment to excellence in all aspects of our operations. It means a careful attention to detail that will ensure the reliability, performance and safety of our boat. It means investing in state of the art navigation equipment and top professional gear by Penn and TLD. It means maintaining the highest standards of comfort and cleanliness both interior and exterior. We believe this will be evident from the moment you step aboard the Ryan Lindy.
Our business philosophy
We feel privileged to operate a business in one of the most beautiful and biologically diverse places on earth. Tourism is a business segment that is critically important to the economic health of Costa Rica. By maintaining high standards of integrity and workplace practices, we feel we can contribute positively to Costa Rica and the communities in which we operate.
We respect our employees, and recognize our responsibility to create a positive working environment. We have happy, productive employees who enjoy coming to work each day.
For the tourists and fishers we serve, we help create great experiences and memories of their time in Costa Rica, encouraging them to return.
We have an equally respectful relationship with nature, recognizing that we are all caretakers of this special place. We acknowledge that we are just “borrowing it” from future generations, and have a responsibility to protect it.
38’ LUHRS “360 Tournament”
The Ryan Lindy was built in 2000 by the Luhrs Corporation of St. Augustine Florida (established 1935). It is a 38 foot sport fishing vessel powered by two Caterpillar 450 HP Model 3126 Turbo Diesel engines. The beam is 13 feet. It is equipped with 8 outriggers (4 per side).
We are licensed to accommodate up to 8 guests. The cabin area is equipped with a lounge, kitchen, master bedroom with queen bed, a second twin bedroom, and of course a head with shower. The upper deck (bridge) houses the captain’s control console, and lounge seating for guests. This area is protected from the elements (when required) by premium Strataglas curtains allowing for great visibility even in rainy weather.
