Where are we located?

Home port for the Ryan Lindy is the beautiful Marina Pez Vela at Quepos, on the central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. It is very close to Manuel Antonio National park, one of Costa Rica’s most famous tourist destinations. Quepos is recognized as one of the top deep sea fishing regions in the world. In mid-April the marina hosts the prestigious Outdoor World Championship which draws serious anglers from around the globe. If you do not have a vehicle, and require transportation from your hotel to the marina, we can arrange this for you.

Our tours typically start at 7 am. Simply check in at the marina office, indicating that you have a reservation on the Ryan Lindy. The concierge will transport you by electric vehicle to our boat, where you will be welcomed by our captain Jesus and mates Coco and Champion who will be your hosts and guides for your deep sea fishing adventure.

How’s the fishing?

Marina Pez Vela are nestled in the large and beautiful Bay of Marina Pez Vela, recognized as one of the very best deep sea fishing destinations in the world. Half day trips are typically spent within the Papagayo Bay area. On full day trips, we will venture out further (off-shore) into the Pacific.

What is included in my fishing trip?

Freshly made sandwiches, local fruit, water, carbonated beverages, fruit juices, beer, are available throughout your trip. Our crew will ensure that you never feel hungry or thirsty. If you forgot your sunscreen, or simply run out, we keep a supply on board…from SPF 15 to SPF 50.

Do you offer trips other than fishing?

Yes you can simply enjoy the luxury of the Ryan Lindy while taking in one of the spectacular sunsets over Papagayo Bay. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments and hors d’oeuvres are provided. We can also take you to one of the numerous secluded areas of our coast for a morning or afternoon snorkeling tour. Speak to Tomato to arrange one of these special excursions.

Can I book the Ryan Lindy in other areas of the Guanacaste coast?

Yes we can bring our boat to areas further south such as Punatarenas and Las Suenos, however there will be additional charges to cover our travel time and additional fuel costs. If you are interested, please speak directly to Tomato.
